Project 365 – Day 30

Remember the bride on my previous post? She took this picture. She is actually my photography business partner.

Previously, I told you guys that I’ll post the big day already but I figured that I might as well post the photos of our prenup first.

Anyway, this is our prenuptial shoot taken at one of the places here in Westgate, Alabang. Isn’t my wife so beatiful? Her smile is just so lovely and it’s like telling me, “I love you so much” Right Love? LOL! This was at least a month or two from our wedding.

Disclaimer: This shot was taken by my partner Mara. All the credit goes to her. 🙂 Partner, if you’re reading this… Thank you very much! We love you! 🙂

Project 365 – Day 29

Summer time came that same year, my soon to be wife at that time, me and our friends went on a summer adventure. We went to Cagbalete Island somewhere in Quezon. It’s a virgin island as they say. It’s a great place for relaxation.

It’s my first time to see low tide… In this place, when they say low tide.. it’s totally dry. LOL. It goes low tide twice day.

This was a memorable trip for me because I believe this was the time that my soon to be wife at that time started noticing my actions towards her. I was always behind her, helping her and I offered my jacket when she got cold.

Our next stop.. the big day!!! 🙂

Project 365 – Day 28

My goal here is to document my journey with my wife. How we met, how I got her to say yes and so on… Join me as I open up myself and share with you guys my love story.

Our first photo together. We’re still not a couple, she invited me over to her house because it was her birthday. She invited a few people only, the one’s that made a difference in her life for the past year. Almost everyone was surprised to see me there since I was not part of their group. A very close friend of mine who was also there already sensed that there was something, something fishy! LOL!

Moving on, It was actually the eve of her birthday and everyone left their house around 11:30 in the evening and I stayed behind because I wanted to be there with her when the clock strikes 12 midnight. Awwww.. I’m so sweet! LOL. I asked her if she was going to work the next day because if not I would like to invite her to Tagaytay and just spend the day with her.

Some fact again: I was not on VL (Vacation Leave) the next day! I was absent from work. LOL!

We spent the day at Bag of Beans in Tagaytay, got to know her better and she is truly beautiful in the inside and just gorgeous outside! true story! 🙂

and the story goes on… 😛

Project 365 – Day 27

I took this picture January 24, 2009. This is the Sampaloc Lake located San Pablo Laguna here in the Philippines. Wondering why I posted this picture? I actually wanted to share something about “How I met my wife” or should I say “How I got her attention” LOL

Some facts, I first saw her(my wife) walking down the stairs at a Starbucks store late 2008. She was like an angel walking down the stairs from heaven. It’s a bit exaggerated but that’s close to how I really felt when I saw her. To cut the story short… I tried everything to get her attention but I FAILED miserably until this picture. February 8, 2009 came and I saw a comment from her on this photo on Facebook. She said “where’s this place? ganda ah! (It’s beautiful) good job! I was the happiest man alive. LOL

to be continued…

Project 365 – Day 26

I had the chance to do a photo shoot for my Sister-in-Law. It’s also my first time to work with my wife on a photo shoot. She was the Director and she made the concept. I guess me and my wife would make a great team on my photography business. 🙂

Project 365 – Day 25

Red roses, as we think of them today, are the traditional symbol for love and romance. The modern red rose we are now familiar with was introduced to Europe from China in the 1800’s. However, the meanings associated with them can be traced back many centuries, even to some of the earliest societies. The color red itself evolved from an early primal symbol for life into a metaphor for deep emotion. In Greek and Roman mythology the red rose was closely tied to the goddess of love. Many early cultures used red roses to decorate marriage ceremonies and they were often a part of traditional wedding attire. Through this practice, the red rose became known as a symbol for love and fidelity. As the tradition of exchanging roses and other flowers as gifts of affection came into prevalence, the red rose naturally became the flower of choice for sending the strongest message of love. This is a tradition that has endured to the present day.

Red roses continue to be the most popular way to say “I love you” to someone special. The rich heritage of the red rose has culminated in its modern day image as the lover’s rose. They are the definitive symbol for romantic sentiments, representing true love, stronger than thorns. Red roses are a meaningful gift, perfect for expressing feelings for a loved one on Valentine’s Day, an anniversary or simply “just because.” For the budding relationship, a red rose bouquet can also signal the beginning of romantic intentions. They can send a message of commitment and an invitation to take the next step. Even the simplicity of a single red rose can elicit a powerful response. Whatever the occasion, red roses have an allure that is hard to resist!

Project 365 – Day 24

She is the owner of the cake on Day 22. 🙂 She celebrated her 18th Birthday last Saturday and the theme of her birthday was Gods and Goddesses. I was hired by her sister which is a good friend of mine to cover the Debut. It was a fun experience since it’s my first time covering a Debut. I was usually cover kiddie parties. 🙂
